About Us
The Wightman-Berris Academy, with its anchor locations at the University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospital along with key community and specialty partner sites, is the largest of four Medical Academies of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. The Academy offers a diverse network of educational sites and opportunities for undergraduate medical students enrolled at the University of Toronto and numerous elective students from across Canada and around the globe. The Wightman-Berris Academy welcomes over 700 pre-clerkship, clerkship and elective students each year, providing them with opportunities to learn in a variety of clinical and research settings under the mentorship and guidance of world renowned clinicians, scientists and medical educators.
