Awards and Achievements
Every year, the Wightman-Berris Academy recognizes students and faculty who have made significant contributions to education and the field of medicine.
The Golden Stethoscope Award is presented annually to Medical Students who have demonstrated outstanding performance as skilled, caring, professionals in their clinical rotations in their third year of study. The University Health Network (Toronto General, Toronto Western, Princess Margaret Hospitals & Toronto Rehabilitation Institute) and Mount Sinai Hospital offer the Wightman-Berris Academy Awards that recognize the outstanding teachers and educators who have made significant contributions to health professional education on staff at the hospitals associated with the Wightman-Berris Academy.
