UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK
Security Dispatchers are available at all three hospitals 24 hours a day. Call X4111 (at Toronto General, Toronto Western and Princess Margaret Hospital) to contact a security dispatcher for any of the following issues:
– To request access
– To report someone smoking or using a cellphone in the hospital
– To report a suspicious person
– To report a theft
– To request an escort
– To check for lost items, or to report property found
– To speak with a Security Officer or Supervisor
– To report an elevator problem or emergency maintenance problem after hours
If, at any point when working at any of the hospitals, you would like an escort to your car or to the parking garage, do not hesitate to call Security to request an escort.
Call the Locating (Switchboard) department at UHN at 3155 (from all hospitals) to request an overhead announcement, or that a specific service department be paged.
To report an Emergency Assistance Code, use extension 5555.

– To secure or retrieve patient valuables

– To request security presences, for patient watches or transport
– To report any personal safety concerns
– To report access concerns
If, at any point when working at any of the hospitals, you would like an escort to your car or to the parking garage, do not hesitate to call Security to request an escort. Please note that Security will not provide escorts into TTC subway stations.

This service is available Monday to Friday, from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am. All walks must initiate from on campus. An escorted walk can be requested to any location on the St. George Campus (including residences at 89 Chestnut and Charles Street) and to TTC stations in the surrounding area.
